"A bid to raise two million dollars to ensure Samoa's better warned of any tsunami threat has been launched online.
A charitable trust called Project Heal and Protect has turned to TradeMe for its first venture.
The trust, set up by a cellphone support company, which employs Samoan staff, plans to give Samoa a tsunami warning system to prevent any future disasters.
Former All Black Inga Tuigamala is one of many rugby greats behind the charity, which gives Kiwis the chance to bid to the rights of a stadium's corporate box.
"We felt with the NZEI Sevens coming up what a fantastic idea to give the people of New Zealand an opportunity to bid on TradeMe to join us down here for the two days," says Project Heal and Protect spokesperson Locky Mulholland. .
The package includes four tickets to the box, airfares and three nights accommodation.
The bidding for the $9,000 package does not close until next Friday.
The trust says with the money collected, they will be able to start working on the setting up of the tsunami warning system.

"The engineers have been to Samoa and the quantity surveyors to look at the projects we wanted to do they've come back with a very clear idea of what needs to happen," says Mulholland.
The engineers will hand over a report next week with details on the best way forward."
