E-top up launched in the Cook Islands
Telecom Cook Islands has partnered with Oceanic Communications to bring Electronic Voucher Distribution to the Cook Islands.
Called E-top up, the new service allows the people of the Cook Islands to electronically top up their phones directly from an E-top up retailer. Customers are no longer forced to choose between fixed denominations with E-top ups available for any amount within a minimum of $5 up to a maximum of $100. Ki Orana calling cards and WiFi pins are also available through the service.
E-top up is available from any of Telecom Cook Island's outlets - the main office, Telepost and the post office. Plans to roll out the service to additional outlets, including street sellers via phone-2-phone technology are to be implemented in the new year.
